Sri Krishna Gaushala Foundation (Reg.) – SKGF, is a ‘Not for Profit’ registered Trust (with Exemptions U/s 80G & 12AA), formed by like-minded friends, from various professions, with the sole intention of Saving Cows, which are sent to slaughter houses. SKGF started it’s journey in the year 2011, with the mission of Saving Cows, taking care of them till it’s last breath by providing them food, shelter, medication and a secure & peaceful place for the rest their life. We also lay special emphasis in preserving our native breeds.
With a humble beginning of taking care of 6 cows, today we feel blessed to have saved more than 250 cows, as on date. We have currently around 100 cows at our Gaushala and the rest have been distributed to local farmers to assist them in their day-to-day farming needs. We have built two big sheds and One small shed apart from Staff Quarters, Water Tanks and a small patch of land for cultivating grass. We also have a small hall (dormitory) with Kitchen and rest room, built recently, at our Gaushala. The existing infrastructure was built brick by brick, in the span of Eleven years, through funds raised out of donations and contributions from all our Trustees.
To enable us execute projects that take care of the well-being and smooth functioning of our Gaushala, we humbly seek your assistance and contributions in this regard, to the best possible extent, to help us pursue our mission successfully.
