SKGF started it&#8217;s journey in the year 2011, with the mission of Saving Cows, taking care of them till it&#8217;s last breath by providing them food, shelter, medication and a secure &amp; peaceful place for the rest their life. We also lay special emphasis in preserving our native breeds.<\/p><p>With a humble beginning\u00a0of taking care of 6 cows, today we feel blessed to have saved more than 250 cows, as on date. We have currently around 100 cows at our Gaushala and the rest have been distributed to local farmers to assist them in their day-to-day farming needs. We have built two big sheds and One small shed apart from Staff Quarters, Water Tanks and a small patch of land for cultivating grass. We also have a small hall (dormitory) with Kitchen and rest room, built recently, at our Gaushala.
